Commissioned by The Human Race Theatre in Dayton, OH for its Theatre in Context program, the play uses three moments in modern American history: the assassination of President Kennedy, the aftermath of the 9/11attacks, and the election of our first African-American president to explore the different ways in which we respond to major events. A study guide was created for the September, 2011 premiere production. The play, published by PlayScripts, is intended to be followed by group discussion either at the theatre or in the classroom.
