UNHEARD VOICES: HAUNTED FILES

Haunted Files

Drawn from the 1920s files of the Eugenics Society, UNHEARD VOICES: HAUNTED FILES is a short “duologue” co-written with mutli-Emmy-Award winning playwright, Judy Tate, that explores the meeting of a Eugenics Society Social Worker and a Black/Chinese orphan. It was created under the auspices of The American Slavery Project and premiered in March, 2015 as part of an exhibit created by the Asian/Pacific/American Insttitute at NYU. A subsequent performance was presented as part of their September, 2015 Conference, AMERICA & ITS UNFIT: EUGENICS THEN AND NOW.
